Two new full-time staff
Jimmy & Meilyn Mearle have joined Discovery Church's full time staff! Jimmy, hailing
from Houston Texas, is an Ordained Evangelist, and Meilyn, hailing from San Jose, Costa Ricca, is an accomplished Dancer. Both were called into
the ministry as teenagers and have always taken the call of God very seriously. To-date they have ministered in over twenty
countries around the world. Prior to their recent move to Ireland they were working full-time for 'On The Go' an evangelistic
missions ministry, based in Nashville. They have both heard and felt God calling them to Ireland and specifically to us here in Discovery Church, and as obedient servants we are delighted
to say they arrived on the 11th Jan to take up a full-time position spearheading evangelism. Jimmy and Meilyn's mission is to
make Christ known and relevant in a Post Christian Irish society through a variety of community outreaches.
We welcome them on board!
Sat Night Youth Group
Discovery Church has joined forces with Galway Christian Fellowship (GCF) to run a Youth Group. Youth from both churches (aged between
12 - 17yrs) meet every Sat night from 7.30 - 9pm in GCF's building in Ballybritt. There are a mixture of activities each week including
playstation games, fuzz ball, group games, time to hang out, worship and a short talk. Visitors welcome ... so long as you fit

Small Groups
Discovery Church has a number of midweek small groups up and running in people's
homes around Galway. Small groups are a vital part of our church and enable us as a congregation to develop
a true sense of community and care. Visitors are always welcome. To find out more see here.
